Comprehensive Diabetic Foot Evaluation

Comprehensive

Educating our diabetic population on foot health is greatly important to our physicians at Total Foot and Ankle of Tampa Bay. Diabetes affects many different systems in your body, including your kidneys, eyes, and your feet. As diabetes progresses or if your blood sugars are elevated for long periods of time, you can develop blood flow and nerve issues in the feet. These problems can lead to devastating outcomes such as wounds, infection, gangrene, and permanent deformity or disability.

Comprehensive diabetic foot exams are important in educating our diabetic population on risks of diabetes and reducing risk of bad events that can risk life and limb. We perform these thorough exams to keep you happy and healthy. Some diabetics may even qualify for our diabetic shoe program.

If you are diabetic call and see one of our physicians Today!
